I'm a serial cereal mixer. I love to blend 2 or 3 different cereals in a Tupperware container to make my very own custom cereal-consuming experience. Well, with Honey Bunches of Oats, I don't need to mix cereals as a result of of all the different textures already in the box - it's virtually for example they did the mixing for usa. Although, I have to admit, I do combine in a box of either Cheerios or Honey Nut Cheerios from time to time. On one occasion, I even went thus far as to toss in few raisins.
My Experience: A pleasant bowl of cereal with cold (soy)milk in the mornings is sort of nice, especially since the temperature is getting warmer. I selected Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds. The 16 ouncesbox retails for about $two.fifty on sale. There are totally different flavors of the Honey Bunches of Oats cereal, including Cinnamon Clusters, Honey Roasted, Chocolate Clusters, Peaches, Strawberries, and Vanilla Clusters. The cereal is created of three totally different varieties of flakes and a few yummy oat clusters. The oat clusters are small and are slightly sweetened, which build them yummy bits of sweetness in the cereal. The oat clusters conjointly add a nice crunch to the cereal. I like the almonds in the cereal as they're slightly sweet and are slivered, providing a nice texture to the cereal. The general flavor of the cereal is delectable as there is simply enough sweetness to be pleasant but not enough to cause a sugar crash later in the morning.
As for the physical characteristics, the "bunches" are comprised of oat clusters that look like clumps of granola - sure together. Also the golden flakes and slivers of almonds spherical out the mixture. Will this cereal keep crunchy in milk? I am glad you ask. The clusters keep crunchy for the period of the time it takes to consume the contents of the bowl. But, the flakes are thin and do tend to get a touch soggy toward the top of the meal. BUT because the clusters keep crunchy (as do the almonds), it tends to even out the crunchy/soggy ratio. To recap, the "crunch factor" will be enough for the whole cereal-consuming session. If I had to list one thing I didn't for instance, it would require to be the very fact that Post does not glue the bag of cereal to the infacet of the box. Thus the bag slides out when pouring into a bowl and that's annoying. How much extra may it be to secure the bag to the box?
